Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in a barista or similar customer service role

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a barista or in a similar customer service role within the food and beverage industry
  • Proven experience in leading shifts or managing a small team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and familiarity with Starbucks menu offerings
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and resolve issues effectively
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring efficient shift operations and adherence to company standards
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Duties

  • Lead and motivate a team of baristas to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Oversee daily operations during your shift, including managing inventory, cash handling, and store cleanliness
  • Train and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure adherence to Starbucks' standards and procedures, including food safety and quality control
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with the store manager to implement strategies for achieving sales targets and improving store performance
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and communication among staff
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and recognition to foster growth and development
