Job Requirements

  • No prior retail experience required
  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • able to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
  • ability to perform hand use tasks including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • ability to bend, twist, squat and reach
  • exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
  • ability to work in temperatures ranging from freezing to over 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Weighs prices and packages customer orders
  • understands venue menus and stays abreast of specials and menu changes
  • follows cash handling procedures related to service venues
  • monitors product quality and freshness and ensures proper product rotation
  • completes product spoilage and transfer records as needed
  • arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
  • provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling techniques
  • answers phones and pages promptly and courteously
  • maximizes sales potential through effective prepping, storing, rotating, stocking and merchandising product
  • follows and ensures compliance with established procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
  • maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
  • performs opening, mid, and closing duties
  • reports safety hazards and violations immediately
  • performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
