Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or retail customer service preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to learn about coffee and tea products and company sustainability practices

Job Qualifications

  • Friendly, respectful, and honest demeanor with a strong sense of ownership and teamwork
  • Ability to engage with diverse guests and provide exceptional customer service
  • Passion for coffee and tea with a willingness to learn and share knowledge
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role preferred but not required
  • Basic math and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Be a warm host- guide guests through their coffee experience from beginning to end providing exceptional guest service throughout
  • Create coffee moments- share your knowledge, our coffee, and our sustainability practices with guests
  • Be a coffee and tea expert. You bring the passion, we provide the training, and you share it with the guest
  • Generate new guests. Many guests shop online these days
  • however, the store is where we meet many of our guests for the first time
  • Care about safety. Safe, healthy employees and guests are our number one priority
  • Contribute. Take pride in the tidiness of your store, organize stock, innovate new way to do things. Take initiative with tasks, ideas and add to the overall success
