Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous barista experience preferred
ability to work full-time Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
ability to follow HACCP and food safety guidelines
strong customer service skills
ability to stand for extended periods
ability to operate POS systems
ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous barista experience preferred
familiarity with Starbucks standards preferred
basic math and cash handling skills
excellent customer service and communication skills
ability to work full-time schedule Monday through Thursday
ability to follow food safety and HACCP guidelines
ability to operate POS systems
strong attention to detail and cleanliness
ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
enters orders accurately into POS device
accepts cash and charge payments
replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
follows HACCP standards
maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
ensures proper food preparation using approved recipes and production standards
keeps display equipment clean and free of debris
cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly
greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
relays customer concerns to supervisors
serves customers quickly and efficiently preventing delays
demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately
advocates selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting in customer buying decisions
ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively and served neatly
performs other duties as assigned
