Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to perform complex mathematical calculations accurately
- availability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance according to company standards
- willingness to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- compliance with health and safety rules and procedures
- regular attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications

- ability to perform complex mathematical calculations without error
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- ability to use moderately complex computer systems for order input and cash handling
- strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers
- physical ability to move throughout food and beverage areas continuously
- adherence to health and safety regulations and standards
Job Duties
- maintains proper and adequate set-up of the coffee bar on a daily basis including requisitioning and stocking all beverage and food items, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet
- responsible for maintaining stock and storing all fresh bakery items, garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
- greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks
- garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
- inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest including those served by other baristas to maintain accountability of all beverages served
- receives cash from guests, makes change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed in order to balance all moneys
- locks up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items
- deposits cash drops and secures bank
- performs any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards
- performs other related duties as assigned
