Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
ability to communicate effectively in English
ability to perform complex mathematical calculations accurately
availability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
ability to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance according to company standards
willingness to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
compliance with health and safety rules and procedures
regular attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
ability to perform complex mathematical calculations without error
excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
ability to use moderately complex computer systems for order input and cash handling
strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers
physical ability to move throughout food and beverage areas continuously
adherence to health and safety regulations and standards

Job Duties

maintains proper and adequate set-up of the coffee bar on a daily basis including requisitioning and stocking all beverage and food items, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet
responsible for maintaining stock and storing all fresh bakery items, garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks
garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest including those served by other baristas to maintain accountability of all beverages served
receives cash from guests, makes change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed in order to balance all moneys
locks up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items
deposits cash drops and secures bank
performs any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards
performs other related duties as assigned
