Job Requirements

  • Must have less than high school education or equivalent experience
  • Six months or less of similar or related work experience
  • Ability to follow detailed but uninvolved instructions
  • Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
  • Must be physically able to perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must possess clarity of vision with or without correction
  • Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
  • Must adhere to company hygiene and dress policies
  • Must report to work as scheduled and on time

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern, and patience in all customer interactions
  • Smile and greet customers warmly in the coffee shop and throughout the store
  • Learn customers' names and address them personally when possible
  • Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy goods, noting and passing along customer suggestions
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and take customer orders accurately
  • Work cooperatively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and a positive work environment
  • Handle food safely and maintain a clean, neat work area
  • Review food freshness and appearance regularly
  • Ensure adequate food supply and follow or develop production lists
  • Anticipate daily product needs and prepare or replenish items accordingly
  • Check in and store product, review invoices as needed
  • Operate department registers, process payments, and make change where applicable
  • Remove trash in a timely manner
  • Adhere to company guidelines for personal hygiene, dress code, policies, and attendance
  • Wash dishes, order products and supplies, and price products as necessary
  • Assist in other store areas when needed
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required
