Job Requirements

Food Handler's Certification required or obtainable within 30 days
Flexible schedule availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic math and computer skills
Eligible to work in the United States
Minimum age of 18 years
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds
Capability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing

Job Qualifications

Existing Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
Basic math and computer skills
Passion for coffee and culinary arts
Strong hospitality and customer service mindset
Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Eligibility to work in the United States and age 18 or older

Job Duties

Deliver exceptional hospitality to guests, teammates, and vendors
Make and serve a selection of delicious beverages using various brewing and preparation methods
Prepare and serve food items
Stay knowledgeable about current beverage and food offerings and participate in ongoing trainings
Regularly taste beverages to ensure quality and uphold standards
Create community in cafes by sharing knowledge and passion for coffee
Support cafe operations by performing cleaning and organizational tasks
Uphold health, food safety, and safety guidelines
Promote a safe and respectful working environment
Complete Blue Bottle Academy training and 90-day validation post-hire
