Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience as a barista or in a similar food and beverage customer service role
- Experience leading shifts or managing small teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing and Starbucks menu items
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Commitment to adhering to health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a barista or in a similar customer service role within the food and beverage industry
- Proven experience in leading shifts or managing a small team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and familiarity with Starbucks menu offerings
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and resolve issues effectively
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring efficient shift operations and adherence to company standards
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and managing inventory
- Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Job Duties
- Lead and motivate a team of baristas to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Oversee daily operations during your shift, including managing inventory, cash handling, and store cleanliness
- Train and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Ensure adherence to Starbucks standards and procedures, including food safety and quality control
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with the store manager to implement strategies for achieving sales targets and improving store performance
- Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and communication among staff
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and recognition to foster growth and development
