Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience preferred
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Comfortable working in a busy environment
Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques is a plus
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks teas and other beverages according to standard recipes
Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
Provide product recommendations and answer questions about menu items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area including equipment and utensils
Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Assist with training new baristas when required
Process payments accurately and efficiently including cash and card transactions
Manage the cash register and ensure a balanced drawer at the end of the shift
Foster a positive atmosphere by engaging with customers and creating a welcoming environment
Handle customer complaints or issues professionally
