Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to learn and adhere to safety and health standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must comply with environmental conditions including working in varying temperatures and noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly and share knowledge about coffee and tea
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse guests
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and sales
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Be a warm host - guide guests through their coffee experience providing exceptional guest service
  • Share knowledge of coffee, tea, and sustainability practices with guests
  • Act as a coffee and tea expert by learning and sharing product knowledge
  • Generate new guests and foster loyalty within the community
  • Ensure safety by prioritizing the health and well-being of employees and guests
  • Maintain store tidiness, organize stock, and innovate new operational methods
  • Take initiative to contribute to the overall success of the store
