Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Six months in customer service setting
Cleveland County Food Handlers Permit required before beginning work in the coffee shop
Must be able to correctly count money
Must be able to troubleshoot on the POS system

Job Duties

Provide high quality customer service and develop relationships with customers
Learn to prepare consistent drinks according to Starbucks recipes and standards
Prepare food products for serving
Receive and prepare food items for resale and ensure cases and shelves are properly stocked
Follow Health Department guidelines
Maintain a clean work environment using opening and closing procedure checklists
Accurately charge for products and follow proper cash handling procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve computer or transaction issues
Suggest innovative ways to reduce loss and waste and increase profitability
Communicate workday issues and results with Supervisor as necessary
