Job Duties

  • Perform opening and closing duties such as organizing supplies and equipment
  • clean all equipment and areas
  • lock doors
  • organize and maintain work areas
  • enter orders in cash register system and process payments
  • take orders, enter them into the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee
  • ensure appliances like coffee machines are turned on and off at the appropriate times
  • clean tables and coffee cart areas
  • keep dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment clean throughout the day
  • obtain necessary cash change for transactions
  • compute cash register at the end of shift and complete cashier reports
  • resolve discrepancies and secure the cash register
  • comply with company safety policies and procedures
  • report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain a professional appearance and uniform
  • protect company information and property
  • support coworkers with respect and dignity
  • assist team in achieving common goals
  • meet quality assurance expectations and standards
  • lift, move, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods
  • read and visually verify information in various formats
  • inspect tools, equipment, or machinery for defects
  • manipulate objects of various sizes requiring fine motor skills
  • reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, dragging, and stooping
