Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1-2 years of barista experience
Ability to operate espresso machines and related equipment
Strong customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively

Job Qualifications

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality drinks and food
Knowledge of food safety standards and cleanliness procedures
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Being a continual learner in the space

Job Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and teas to customers according to established recipes and customer preferences
Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with precision and care
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and offering product recommendations
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including counters, equipment, and dining areas
Ensure inventory is stocked and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Monitor the quality and consistency of coffee and beverages to meet company standards
Process payments and provide change accurately
Manage customer concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner
Train and mentor less experienced baristas, ensuring that all team members are following proper procedures and maintaining high standards
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment for both staff and customers
