Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a coffee shop or similar role preferred
Ability to stand for long periods
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Must be at least 18 years old
Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug test and background check

Job Qualifications

Previous Starbucks experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
Familiarity with various coffee beans and blends
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques
Prior cash handling experience

Job Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espressos lattes and cappuccinos
Engage with customers taking their orders and providing recommendations
Create latte art and ensure each drink is beautifully presented
Maintain a clean and organized work area including coffee machines and equipment
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of coffee products
Upsell additional items such as pastries snacks or merchandise
Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
Provide friendly and efficient customer service ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued
