Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Capability to lift and carry heavy items
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a barback or food runner role preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for extended periods
- Attentiveness to detail and cleanliness
- Friendly and guest-focused attitude
Job Duties
- Assist the bartender and servers to ensure prompt service
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Pre bus tables, maintain table cleanliness, bus tables
- Deliver food and beverages to any table as needed
- Change kegs, stock beer, wine and liquors
- Cut fruit, fill mixers, and remove trash
- Keep all ice bins full and maintain cleanliness
- Keep floors free from debris and clean
- Ensure hot food is hot and cold food is cold
- Adhere to timing standards for products and services
- Serve the guests in an accommodating manner
- Look for ways to avoid waste and limit costs
- Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
- Remove dirty utensils and replenish as needed
- Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
- Ensure guests feel important and welcome in the restaurant
