Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Capability to lift and carry heavy items
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a barback or food runner role preferred
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for extended periods
  • Attentiveness to detail and cleanliness
  • Friendly and guest-focused attitude

Job Duties

  • Assist the bartender and servers to ensure prompt service
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
  • Pre bus tables, maintain table cleanliness, bus tables
  • Deliver food and beverages to any table as needed
  • Change kegs, stock beer, wine and liquors
  • Cut fruit, fill mixers, and remove trash
  • Keep all ice bins full and maintain cleanliness
  • Keep floors free from debris and clean
  • Ensure hot food is hot and cold food is cold
  • Adhere to timing standards for products and services
  • Serve the guests in an accommodating manner
  • Look for ways to avoid waste and limit costs
  • Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
  • Remove dirty utensils and replenish as needed
  • Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
  • Ensure guests feel important and welcome in the restaurant
