The Barback position plays a crucial supportive role within the Food and Beverage department by assisting bartenders and servers to ensure smooth service flow. As the bartender's right hand, the Barback must constantly be aware of service timing and guest needs within their assigned station. Responsibilities include maintaining an impeccably stocked and clean bar, supporting food and beverage service requests, and upholding the highest standards of safety and sanitation throughout the shift. The Barback must be a poised and attentive presence at the bar, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

This is a non-exempt position reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced, guest-focused environments. The role demands physical stamina for tasks such as lifting, carrying, and extensive walking during shifts up to eight hours. The successful Barback will exhibit a strong work ethic, punctuality, and an eagerness to learn about the menu, ingredients, and service protocols.
