- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- availability to work the entire event day, including setup and teardown
- reliable transportation to and from Northwestern Medicine Field in Geneva, IL
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- previous barback, food service, or event experience preferred
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat, humidity, wind, or rain
- ability to take direction, stay organized, and maintain a fast pace during busy periods
- availability to work the entire event day, including setup and teardown
- reliable transportation to and from Northwestern Medicine Field in Geneva, IL
Job Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, ice, cups, and other supplies throughout the event
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, collecting trash, and removing empty containers
- refill ice bins and ensure bars are stocked and prepped during peak times
- transport inventory from storage areas to bar stations as needed
- monitor supply levels and communicate shortages or needs to the Lead Bartender or Event Supervisor
- support in bar setup and breakdown before and after the event
- follow all health, safety, and alcohol service policies and procedures
- remain attentive and responsive to the needs of bartenders and guests
- all other duties as assigned
