Job Description
The hiring establishment is a vibrant bar and restaurant that prides itself on delivering exceptional service and a memorable atmosphere to its patrons. Known for its lively ambiance, extensive beverage selection, and dedicated team, this establishment has become a popular destination for both locals and visitors seeking quality drinks and outstanding customer experiences. As a key player in the hospitality sector, this business values teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining its reputation as a top-tier social hub.
The position available is a Barback, an essential support role within the bar team. The Barback works closely with bartenders to ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, and organized, which is crucial for the smooth and efficient service of drinks during busy hours. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, particularly those who aspire to advance their career behind the bar. Responsibilities include stocking ice, maintaining bottles, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, cleaning bar areas, changing kegs, and managing trash disposal. The role demands flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Employment is typically full-time or part-time with shifts covering nights and weekends, reflecting the bar's operating hours to meet customer demand during peak periods. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, in compliance with alcohol service regulations, and should be prepared to obtain a Food Handler's Card upon hire. Experience in customer service or previous exposure to bar or hospitality environments is highly desirable, though not mandatory, making this an excellent entry point for motivated individuals. This role offers the opportunity to build foundational skills in cocktail service and bar management while being part of a dynamic team dedicated to customer satisfaction and quality service.
