Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in a barback, server assistant, or similar role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Basic understanding of health and safety standards
- Coachable and receptive to feedback

Job Duties
- Support bartenders, servers, and managers throughout service
- Assist with food running and beverage running as directed
- Provide water service, including initial pours and refills
- Pre-bus, clear, crumb, reset, and remark tables as needed without disrupting guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining room support areas, server stations, side stands, and water stations
- Polish and restock glassware, silverware, side towels, and service tools
- Stock beer, wine, liquor, non-alcoholic beverages, garnishes, and other service supplies in their proper locations
- Maintain pars of bar and floor support materials including napkins, straws, garnishes, silverware, and service hardware
- Assist with carrying trays, using tray stands, and supporting smooth course execution
- Correctly run items to proper table and seat numbers when needed
- Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, expo, and management regarding service needs, guest requests, and item outages
- Communicate all 86’d items and operational needs to managers in a timely manner
- Help maintain a clean guest line of sight in all public-facing areas
- Assist with opening, shift-change, and closing side work
- Support allergy procedure awareness and confirm modifications through proper communication channels
- Handle guest concerns professionally and alert a server or manager when needed
- Maintain proper health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Ensure all CHG standards are upheld or exceeded
