Job Requirements

Must be able to explain and demonstrate essential job functions with or without accommodation
Follow all Cosm policies and procedures
Positive, friendly, and professional approach in all interactions
Willingness to follow direction and perform additional requests
Consistently friendly and outgoing toward fans, management, and team members
Ability to work a variety of shifts including late hours, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

1+ years previous barback experience preferably in a fast-paced full-service establishment
Thorough understanding of mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic beverages
Excellent communication and professional interpersonal skills
Fluency in English with basic writing ability
Food handlers' card
State recognized responsible alcohol certification
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with local and state laws
Ability to continuously stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds
Ability to frequently bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 pounds
Ability to occasionally kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to seldom climb, push, pull, or lift over 50 pounds

Job Duties

Prepare section to be ready at scheduled time
Follow Cosm's Pillars of Service for each guest
Assist other team members to ensure guest satisfaction
Perform basic mathematics
Engage fans, coworkers, and managers positively and professionally
Ensure fans are taken care of throughout their visit
Be knowledgeable of the company's products, services, and promotions
Follow supervisors’ directions including side work and cleaning
Comply with state liquor laws and company policies
Attend food, bar, and service trainings
Maintain low china and glass breakage
Rotate and stock coolers with correct products and amounts
Keep alcohol storage areas locked and secure
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of bar setup and closing
Work varied shifts including late hours, holidays, and weekends
Maintain friendliness and professionalism
Work well in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Demonstrate good time management and communication skills
Follow company and state safety guidelines for a safe work environment
