Job Description

Legends Global is a premier partner to the world's greatest live events, venues, and brands, known for delivering integrated premium services through a white-label approach. The company manages a worldwide network of 450 venues, hosting over 20,000 events annually and entertaining 165 million guests each year. Their expertise spans feasibility and consulting, owner's representation, sales, partnerships, hospitality, merchandise, venue management, and the content and booking of world-class live events and venues. Legends Global prioritizes a culture of respect, ambitious thinking, collaboration, and bold action, striving to build an inclusive workplace where employees can be authentic, impactful, and grow their careers. The company embraces diversity and encourages individuals from all backgrounds to join their unified and winning team.

The Barback role at Legends Global is an essential position contributing to the smooth operation of the bar venues, specifically tied to the New Highmark Stadium, set to open in the 2026 NFL season. This stadium will be the new home of the Buffalo Bills and marks the largest construction project in Western New York history. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, it promises an enhanced fan experience. The Barback works under the guidance of bartenders and is responsible for supporting all aspects of bar maintenance and operation, including stocking inventory, cleaning, and preparation of beverages. This role demands a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment typical of major live event settings.

In this capacity, the Barback ensures that the bar is well stocked with glasses, cups, napkins, ice, drink supplies, condiments, and more, helping to maintain adequate inventory throughout the event. Responsibilities also include washing glassware and equipment, stocking refrigeration units with beverages such as beer and wine, and replacing beer kegs as needed. The Barback must uphold high sanitation standards by cleaning and polishing bar counters, shelves, stools, and other equipment. Additionally, routine trash pickup and disposal duties are part of maintaining a clean and safe environment around the bar service areas.

This role requires physical stamina to handle constant standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motions while working in various weather conditions. The ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 160 pounds is essential, along with tolerating exposure to loud noises, flashing lights, and extreme temperatures. The Barback position offers a competitive salary of $16 per hour plus tips and requires individuals to obtain alcohol safety certifications before working events. Being 18 years or older, self-motivated, adaptable, and a team player are key attributes for success.

Working with Legends Global provides an opportunity to be part of a respected and ambitious company within the live events sector. Employees contribute to exceptional fan experiences at landmark venues like the New Highmark Stadium, joining a diverse and inclusive team driven by a shared purpose and commitment to excellence. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to grow their hospitality careers in a vibrant and evolving industry environment with steady growth opportunities and the excitement of live event operations.
