Job Description
Hyatt is a globally recognized hospitality company known for its award-winning workplace culture and consistently being named a Great Place to Work in the U.S. Hyatt operates a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts worldwide, devising experiences that cater to both leisure and business travelers. The company is committed to fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment where employees feel empowered, valued, and part of a collaborative family. Hyatt’s dedication to excellence in guest service and employee satisfaction makes it a preferred employer in the hotel industry.
The Barback position at Hyatt is an integral role supporting the bartending team to ensure that bar operations run smoothly in a fast-paced, high-volume hotel environment. As a Barback, you will be responsible for restocking bars with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and other essential supplies. This role demands strong communication skills, physical stamina, and a guest-focused attitude to contribute to creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for patrons. Working closely with bartenders, the Barback helps maintain the cleanliness and organization of bar areas and storage rooms, supporting efficient service during busy periods.
This position requires the ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy items, flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere. While previous hospitality or bar experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, as Hyatt values a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Being part of Hyatt offers opportunities for professional growth and development, along with the chance to work in an environment that promotes respect, inclusion, and employee well-being. The Barback role is essential to the success of the beverage service team and contributes directly to Hyatt's reputation for outstanding guest hospitality.
