Job Description

Haywire & The Ranch is an exciting new restaurant brand launching its latest location in La Cantera, with an opening planned for October 2024. This innovative establishment is deeply rooted in blending heritage recipes with a modern twist, all crafted from locally sourced ingredients that highlight the best of Texas culinary traditions. The restaurant prides itself on providing a menu that strikes a perfect balance between the sophistication of fine dining and the welcoming, comforting flavors of home cooking. This approach ensures a unique dining experience that appeals to a wide range of guests seeking quality and authenticity in their meals.

Beyond the exceptional food offerings, Haywire & The Ranch distinguishes itself through its impressive beverage selection. Featuring an extensive range of local Texas spirits, craft beers, handcrafted cocktails, and an award-winning wine list, the restaurant caters to diverse tastes with an emphasis on high-quality and locally produced drinks. The beverage program is carefully curated to complement the food menu, enhancing the overall dining experience and setting the stage for memorable social moments. Whether you’re a whiskey enthusiast, a wine lover, or a craft beer fan, the bar at Haywire & The Ranch aims to impress with its thoughtfully designed offerings.

The restaurant is currently seeking dynamic and passionate individuals to join its team as Bar Backs or Service Bartenders. The roles involve supporting the bar operations by maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the bar, assisting bartenders, and delivering exceptional service to guests. Candidates who love and have a deep knowledge of whiskey, wine, and beer will find this position particularly rewarding. Additionally, those who enjoy crafting cocktails with flair and precision, and who understand the perfect balance between showmanship and efficiency, will thrive in this environment.

The company values attention to detail and professionalism, emphasizing that every team member plays a crucial role in delivering an outstanding guest experience. Team members are encouraged to develop their skills and have opportunities for growth, with pathways leading to management and leadership roles. The work environment is supportive and energetic, designed to foster passion, creativity, and excellence in hospitality.

Employment type is hourly, with pay ranging from $15 to $19 per hour, depending on experience and including tip sharing from restaurant operations. Medical insurance benefits are available for hourly employees who work an average of 30 hours per week, and a 401(k) plan is offered to those 21 years or older after completing one year with 1,000 hours of service. The restaurant participates in the E-Verify program to ensure legal employment practices, and it proudly maintains an equal opportunity employer status.

If you have at least one year of restaurant and bar experience, a current Food Handler’s Certification and TABC Certification, and the ability to handle the physical demands of the job, this could be the perfect opportunity to join a vibrant new establishment in La Cantera. Come be part of a team where company culture, heritage, and quality combine to create a standout dining and social experience.
