The Barback role at Legends Global is a vital position within the concessions environment, specifically designed to support bartenders by ensuring they have all necessary supplies and assistance to provide exceptional guest service. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of bar services during events, guaranteeing that customer experiences at venues like Yankee Stadium meet the highest standards. The Barback is responsible for stocking bar items, filling ice bins, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area. They must anticipate the bartender's needs throughout their shift and promptly respond to requests, ensuring that quality service is delivered efficiently and consistently.
In addition to operational duties, the Barback must adhere to company policies and procedures, arrive on time prepared to start work immediately, and contribute to a safe and cooperative work environment. The position demands physical stamina and mobility, as it involves lifting and transporting moderate to heavy items, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods. It requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during Yankee Stadium events. Candidates interested in this role must have a minimum of two to three years of experience in fast-paced bars, high-end clubs, or restaurants, and possess a strong understanding of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations
- ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
- strong communication skills in English
- physical ability to lift and transport items up to 50 pounds
- availability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- two to three years of experience in a bar, club, or restaurant setting
- follow all safety policies and procedures
- complete company safety training
Job Qualifications
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards
- must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
- ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
- must be able to read, speak and write English language in order to communicate with guests
- ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- ability to work all Yankee Stadium events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
- must have two to three years working in a fast paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant
Job Duties
- Responsible for stocking bar items daily and filling the ice bins as needed
- anticipate needs throughout the shift
- assist in keeping all areas clean and organized
- report timely to work and prepared to start at the starting time
- know your work area and set up as directed
- abide by the operating standards outlined in the policy and procedure manual
- ensure prompt, quality service is provided
- perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time
