We are currently seeking a dedicated Barback to join the team at The Grand Bohemian Charlotte. This is an hourly position that plays a vital support role within the bar operations. The Barback will assist bartenders in daily bar duties to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Responsibilities include stocking beverages, maintaining cleanliness of the bar and associated areas, replenishing supplies as needed, and supporting the overall guest experience by maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within a dynamic team. This role requires attention to detail, multitasking capability, and a passion for contributing to memorable guest interactions.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or bar service preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be 21 years or older to serve alcohol
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow prescribed procedures
- Commitment to teamwork and excellent customer service
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job
- Must pass background check and any drug screening required

Job Duties
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees
- Receive all liquor, beer and wine from storeroom daily
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar, refrigerators, and service areas
- Replenish liquor, beer and wine as needed during shifts
- Be familiar with beverages, cocktails and hotel mixing portion control
- Assist in opening and closing side-work as assigned
- Maintain beverage cost control
- Serve alcohol responsibly to prevent issues with intoxicated guests
- Retrieve and deliver food items to customers according to service standards
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
