Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or bar service preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be 21 years or older to serve alcohol
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow prescribed procedures
  • Commitment to teamwork and excellent customer service
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job
  • Must pass background check and any drug screening required

Job Duties

  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees
  • Receive all liquor, beer and wine from storeroom daily
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar, refrigerators, and service areas
  • Replenish liquor, beer and wine as needed during shifts
  • Be familiar with beverages, cocktails and hotel mixing portion control
  • Assist in opening and closing side-work as assigned
  • Maintain beverage cost control
  • Serve alcohol responsibly to prevent issues with intoxicated guests
  • Retrieve and deliver food items to customers according to service standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
