The Barback position at Hilton Americas-Houston’s Lobby Bar is a full-time role with an evening shift pattern, requiring flexibility to work weekends and holidays. This role is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of the bar during peak times by assisting bartenders and ensuring the bar is well-stocked and clean. The ideal candidate for this role is energetic, reliable, and experienced with at least one year of food and beverage experience in a fast-paced bar setting. A solid working knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits is essential, alongside a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality delivered in a polished and professional environment. The role requires the Barback to be proactive and attentive to the dynamic needs of both the bartenders and guests, ensuring a seamless service flow which enhances the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities of the Barback include retrieving orders from the storeroom, preparing and replenishing garnishes and bar supplies, assisting bartenders with stocking and maintenance, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and storage spaces. Additionally, the Barback will maintain beer kegs and taps and adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing bar operation and cleanliness.
