Job Requirements
- Minimum relevant bar experience
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to report to work on time
- Maintain high standards of appearance and personal hygiene
- Ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations
Job Qualifications
- Hands-on food and beverage knowledge
- Relevant bar experience in a hotel preferred
- Highly developed customer service skills
- Friendly approachable demeanor
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to engage guests at all levels
- Passionate about providing warm, engaging and personalized service
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain positive and professional demeanor under pressure
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in English
- Valid food handler certification
- Valid Louisiana Responsible Vendor Card
Job Duties
- Help the executive chef and sous chefs with restaurant, banquet and specialty dessert menu
- Assist in bar setup and opening
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in closing Bar
- Stocking the bar stations to par
