Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience in high volume bar operations
- Experience as food/bar service runner or bar back
- Exceptional communication skills
- Sense of urgency
- Time management skills
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards
- Ability to think critically and make decisions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift or move up to 40 lbs with proper techniques
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, loud, and sometimes stressful environment
- Availability to work special events as scheduled
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Experience in high volume bar operations
- Experience in food/bar service as either a runner or bar back in a high-volume environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong sense of urgency
- Effective time management skills
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards
- Critical thinking and decision making abilities
Job Duties
- Perform bar maintenance duties according to Koko’s Bavarian service standards
- Perform Opening/Running/Closing duties according to Koko’s Bavarian service standards
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
- Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift
- Keep all ice bins always parred to fullest levels
- Clean all spills immediately, use floor signs to caution guests and staff
- Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles
- Keep current on all standard operating procedures
- Stay informed of current menu items and descriptions
- Follow private party service guidelines to ensure event success
- Assist bartenders as needed, keep them stocked at all times
- Follow all safety standards
- Required to occasionally work special events that are scheduled throughout the venue
