Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Valid Food Service Handler Card and TABC certification for at least six months
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
- Ability to bend, squat, and stretch in limited spaces
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Proactive attitude
- Adherence to health and safety protocols
- Maintain neat and clean appearance per hotel standards
- Follow hotel policies including attendance and behavior
- Ability to work in noisy and variable environment conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Food Service Handler Card and TABC certification for at least six months
- Knowledge of mixing a wide variety of drinks
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Preferred 1-2 years experience in a full-service restaurant or lounge
- Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Support bartenders with pre-shift prep, post-shift close, and in-shift maintenance
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment including stocking supplies, washing and polishing glassware, folding napkins, cleaning menus, sanitizing tables
- Stock the bar as necessary according to liquor requisition guidelines
- Explain basic details of food dishes and beverages during delivery to guests
- Prepare basic non-alcoholic beverages such as water, coffee, and tea
- Be knowledgeable about the organization of the bar and hotel resources
- Prepare the bar daily, maintain it during shifts, and clean it nightly
- Adhere to company standards for food and beverage knowledge
- Interact positively and politely with guests to enhance their experience
- Verify guests' legal drinking age by checking ID cards
- Follow health and safety protocols including equipment use, food handling, and sanitation
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and adhere to work schedules
- Promote a professional and respectful work atmosphere among staff
- Perform opening, closing, and changeover duties
- Support efforts to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Participate in smooth coordination between BOH and FOH staff
- Keep a current SNHD Food Handler's card on person
- Post/share digital marketing content weekly as directed
- Report health and safety incidents promptly to leadership
- Maintain accountability to kitchen standards and prep recipes
