TC Restaurants is a prominent restaurant group operating several high-profile venues in the vibrant Nashville area. Their portfolio includes popular establishments such as Luke Bryan's 32 Bridge Food + Drink, Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up, Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Sun Diner, Luigi's City Pizza, Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa, Tequila Cowboy, and Wanna B's Karaoke Bar. Each venue offers a unique dining and entertainment experience rooted deeply in Nashville's rich culture, combining exceptional food, drinks, and music to provide guests with memorable outings. TC Restaurants prides itself on creating dynamic environments that emphasize superior guest service, teamwork, and community engagement. The company is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism across all its establishments, ensuring that both employees and guests enjoy a rewarding atmosphere. They embrace innovation in hospitality while honoring the genuine Southern spirit and charm that define the Nashville experience. The group has a reputation for fostering supportive working environments and promoting growth among its team members, making it an inspiring employer within the hospitality sector.
The Barback role within TC Restaurants is vital to the smooth operation of each venue's bar and beverage service areas. This position involves setting up bars, stocking inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring organization within bars, liquor rooms, storage areas, and back of house locations throughout the venues. Barbacks support the bar team by assisting with opening and closing duties, inventory management, and maintaining a thriving, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike. This physically active role requires the ability to handle heavy lifting and stay energized throughout shifts. The role demands efficiency, professionalism, and a consistently positive attitude focused on delivering superior guest service in fast-paced, high-energy environments reflecting Nashville's lively nightlife and dining scenes.
Key responsibilities include preparing syrups, mixes, and garnishes essential for drinks, ensuring timely completion of opening, running, and closing duties, and maintaining accurate par levels for liquor, beer, wine, and other consumables while reporting any shortages or damages. Rotation of stock is critical to preserve quality and freshness. The Barback also assists with loading and unloading supplies, keeps the bartop and back bar clean and organized, polishes and washes glassware, and promptly manages spills and waste. Maintaining atmosphere control by circulating the workspace and monitoring guest behavior to uphold safety and comfort standards is also crucial. Courteous and professional guest interaction is a core component, as is adherence to all company policies, health, safety, and liquor laws. Barbacks are evaluated on leadership qualities such as accountability, dependability, teamwork, judgment, and punctuality. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, eligibility to work in the U.S., being at least 21 years old, and possession or ability to obtain all necessary state permits, including the ABC Server’s Permit.
Working conditions can include exposure to varying temperatures, noisy environments, and confined workspaces, reflecting the live entertainment and hospitality setting of the venues. The schedule may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays with shifts exceeding 30 hours per week when approved. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of Nashville’s acclaimed restaurant scene with a company dedicated to employee development and guest satisfaction. TC Restaurant Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values diversity and inclusion in the workplace, encouraging qualified candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
