The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel, is a prestigious hospitality establishment situated on the scenic shores of the Pacific Ocean. Known for its exceptional service and luxurious accommodations, the resort offers guests a unique and memorable experience combining comfort, elegance, and personalized attention. With over 30 years of excellence in the hospitality industry, The Waterfront Beach Resort prides itself on fostering a welcoming and family-like work environment where associates are encouraged to grow personally and professionally. The resort's motto, 'One Team, One Dream,' reflects a culture of teamwork, integrity, and dedication to delivering the finest guest experiences.
As part of the Waterfront Beach Resort team, the role being offered is a Bar Setup and Event Support Associate. This position is critical in ensuring that all beverage service areas are impeccably prepared and maintained for events hosted at the resort. The role involves setting up all bars, point of sales systems, power sources, and glassware prior to each event, ensuring that bartenders and other service staff have everything they need for smooth and efficient operations. The associate will also assist in breaking down glassware, replenishing supplies such as liquor, beer, wine, ice, and dry stock, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of bar areas and event spaces.
Moreover, this role demands collaboration with the Beverage Manager to oversee the organization of storage areas and manage deliveries from the purchasing department, guaranteeing the availability of necessary supplies. Additional responsibilities include performing general cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards, supporting bartenders by covering their duties when necessary, and strictly adhering to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations to ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages.
Candidates for this role must possess strong organizational skills, the ability to make quick and accurate decisions, and the capability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism. A basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, and guest relations is essential, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently to interact clearly with staff. The position also requires physical activity such as walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, and frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
At The Waterfront Beach Resort, associates enjoy a supportive environment with opportunities for career development, training, and competitive benefits. Full-time employees become eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, supplemental insurances, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid holidays, vacation accrual, complimentary meals and parking during working hours, and access to Hilton's team member travel program. The resort values its employees and provides recognition programs celebrating outstanding contributions, fostering a workplace where each individual’s efforts are appreciated and rewarded.
