Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or related field
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 100 pounds

Job Duties

  • Communicate effectively with employees and guests in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • Listen to and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests
  • Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
  • Attend all hotel-required meetings and trainings
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards
  • Uphold high personal appearance and grooming standards
  • Comply with hotel standards and regulations for safe operations
  • Maximize productivity and assist in problem-solving
  • Cross-train in other hotel-related areas as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of information
  • Show initiative in anticipating guest or operational needs
  • Receive all liquor, beer, and wine deliveries daily
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, refrigerators, and service areas
  • Replenish liquor, beer, and wine during shifts
  • Be familiar with beverages, cocktails, and hotel mixing portion controls
  • Assist in opening and closing side-work duties
  • Help ensure bar and lounge cleanliness and tidiness
  • Assist with maintaining beverage cost controls
  • Follow prescribed procedures when serving alcohol to avoid issues with intoxicated guests
  • Retrieve and deliver food items to customers according to service standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
