Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification
- Must have an Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
- Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS - Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prolonged periods standing and preparing drinks
- Ability to lift at least 15 pounds
- Prior experience as barback or similar role preferred but not mandatory

Job Duties
- Support bartenders by assisting in preparing and serving beverages by replenishing supplies such as ice, garnishes, and glassware in a timely manner
- Set up and break down the bar area including cleaning and polishing glassware, restocking drink ingredients, and arranging bar tools and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning and organizing the bar area including counters, floors, shelves, and equipment
- monitor hygiene standards
- Manage stock by monitoring inventory levels and communicating with the bar manager to ensure adequate supply of beverages, ingredients, and supplies
- assist in retrieving items from storage
- Provide customer service by assisting bartenders in serving customers, taking orders, delivering drinks, and responding promptly and courteously to inquiries
- Assist in bar operations by collaborating with bartenders to prepare specialty cocktails and operate beverage equipment such as blenders and coffee machines
- Ensure safety and compliance by adhering to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations and reporting hazards or incidents to management
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient communication and seamless operations during peak hours
- Stay updated on beverage trends, attend training sessions, and perform other related duties as assigned
