Job Requirements

Must be at least twenty-one years old
Minimum of 2 years experience as a barback in a fine dining or upscale bar environment
Valid Food Handlers Certification
Valid Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
Ability to work flexible hours including evening weekends and holidays
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately
Prolonged periods standing and preparing drinks

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience as a barback in a fine dining or upscale bar environment
Comprehensive knowledge of various spirits wines beers and experience crafting unique cocktails
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
Ability to work well as part of a team
Valid Food Handlers Certification
Valid Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
Ability to learn cash register software such as Aloha Hot Schedule and Paylocity
Must be at least twenty-one years old

Job Duties

Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages by replenishing supplies such as ice garnishes and glassware in a timely manner
Prepare the bar area for service including cleaning and polishing glassware restocking drink ingredients and arranging bar tools and equipment
Ensure proper cleaning and storage of all items after service
Regularly clean and organize the bar area including counters floors shelves and equipment ensuring hygiene standards
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with bar manager or supervisor to maintain adequate supply of beverages ingredients and supplies
Assist bartenders in serving customers by taking orders delivering drinks and providing exceptional customer service
Collaborate with bartenders to prepare and serve specialty cocktails and operate beverage equipment such as blenders and coffee machines
Adhere to all safety sanitation and alcohol service regulations reporting safety hazards or incidents to management
Work closely with bartenders servers and other staff members to ensure efficient communication and seamless operations during peak hours and events
Perform other related duties as assigned
