The Barback role at Legends Global is a vital position within the concessions environment, designed to support bartenders and maintain exceptional guest service standards. This role requires an individual who is highly organized, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced team environment. The Barback is responsible for ensuring that bartenders have the necessary supplies at all times, anticipating their needs, and maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar. The role also demands a high level of physical stamina and mobility, as well as the ability to handle extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, especially at Yankee Stadium events.
As the Barback, you will be an essential part of the guest service team, playing a critical role in upholding the operating standards outlined in the company’s policy and procedure manual. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have two to three years working in a fast paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant
- Must be able to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- Must be able to read, speak and write English
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
- Must be able to read, speak and write English to communicate with guests
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- Ability to work all Yankee Stadium events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
- Must have two to three years working in a fast paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant
Job Duties
- Responsible for stocking bar items daily and filling the ice bins as needed
- Anticipate needs throughout the shift
- Assist in keeping all areas clean and organized
- Report timely to work and prepared to start at the starting time
- Know your work area and set up as directed
- Abide by the operating standards outlined in the policy and procedure manual
- Ensure prompt, quality service is provided
