The Barback position at Legends Global is a pivotal role within their Concessions team, specifically designed to support bartenders and ensure exceptional guest service during events. This role demands a proactive individual capable of maintaining the flow of supplies and assisting bartenders efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment such as Yankee Stadium. The Barback’s main responsibilities include stocking bar items, managing ice supplies, and anticipating the needs of the bartenders throughout the shift to prevent any service delays. Beyond supply management, the role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness and organization within the bar area, adhering strictly to operating standards as outlined in company policies, and providing timely and high-quality service. The job also requires flexibility and reliability as the Barback must be prepared to work during various hours including extended shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays, especially aligning with the event schedules at Yankee Stadium.
This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in team-oriented, fast-moving environments and who possess strong multitasking abilities. The Barback at Legends Global must be physically capable of handling the demands of the position, which includes lifting and transporting items weighing up to 50 pounds and performing tasks that require constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pulling, and pushing. With a requirement of at least two to three years experience working in similar fast-paced settings such as bars, high-end clubs, or restaurants, candidates are expected to have a foundational knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, and proper guest etiquette.

Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- 2 to 3 years working in a fast paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards
- ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to read, speak and write English
- ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling
- practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies and procedures
- complete company safety training
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with service standards
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
- must be able to read, speak and write English
- ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- ability to work all Yankee Stadium events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- must have sufficient mobility to perform production tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
- must have 2 to 3 years working in a fast paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant
Job Duties
- provide supplies and items to bartenders upon request
- stock bar items daily and fill ice bins as needed
- anticipate needs throughout the shift
- assist in keeping all areas clean and organized
- report timely to work and be prepared at starting time
- abide by operating standards outlined in policy and procedure manual
- ensure prompt and quality service is provided
