The Barback role at Legends Global is essential in supporting the bartender and enhancing the overall guest experience in the concessions environment. This position focuses on providing timely supplies, anticipating needs, and maintaining a well-organized and clean workspace. The Barback plays an integral role in ensuring that the bar operates efficiently, allowing bartenders to deliver exceptional service to guests. The role demands a proactive attitude, physical stamina to handle stocking and transporting items up to 50 pounds, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays at Yankee Stadium events.
The Barback is responsible for daily stocking of bar items, filling ice bins as necessary, and assisting with organizational tasks to keep the bar area in optimal condition. They are expected to report promptly and be prepared to start their shifts timely, following all policy and procedure guidelines outlined by Legends Global. Attention to detail and commitment to operating standards are crucial, as is the ability to multi-task effectively during busy periods. Candidates must possess basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service protocols, guest relations, and etiquette to excel in this role. Good communication skills are necessary as the Barback will interact with coworkers and guests, ensuring compliance with company service standards and upholding a high level of professionalism.

Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work all Yankee Stadium events including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- Ability to read, speak and write English
- Must have two to three years of experience in a fast paced bar, high-end club or restaurant
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced team orientated setting
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Responsible for stocking bar items daily and filling the ice bins as needed
- Anticipate needs throughout the shift
- Assist in keeping all areas clean and organized
- Report timely to work and prepared to start at the starting time
- Know your work area and set up as directed
- Abide by the operating standards outlined in the policy and procedure manual
- Ensure prompt, quality service is provided
- Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time
