The Barback role at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is a vital entry-level position that supports the beverage operations and ensures that the bars operate efficiently and seamlessly. This role focuses on maintaining a fully stocked bar with all forms of beer, wine, liquor, juice, non-alcoholic mixers, and other beverages. In addition to stocking, the Barback is responsible for keeping glassware and bar supplies clean and organized, helping maintain overall cleanliness and safety standards throughout the beverage venues. This position plays an important role in upholding the team’s high standards of service by supporting bartenders with tasks such as replenishing consumables, managing perishable supplies, and executing regular cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
The Barback must promote a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment, often referred to as "The Big Six," aimed at creating memorable guest experiences while ensuring compliance with safety and health standards. This position demands flexibility, physical stamina, and attention to detail. The Barback is expected to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and to work comfortably in environments where noise and second-hand smoke are present. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to obtain a food handler’s card
- ability to pass all alcohol awareness training
- ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority
- ability to obtain a state-issued alcoholic beverage license
- requires standing for long periods, frequent bending, and kneeling
- must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs
- flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a setting that includes exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise

Job Duties
- stock all forms of beer, wine, liquor, juice, non-alcoholic mixers, and other supplies for beverage venues and storage areas
- ensure perishable supplies are dated and maintained for freshness
- sweep and mop all floors daily
- pull trash throughout the shift and clean trash cans
- uphold cleanliness standards for your station and shared areas
- ensure all soaps, sanitizers, paper towels, and other essentials are well-stocked
- clean, wash, and stock all glassware and bar supplies
- promote a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment ("The Big Six")
