Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Minimum two years experience in fast-paced restaurant or bar
Must be at least 21 to meet minimum age requirement of the State of California to serve alcoholic beverages
Ability to work under pressure professionally in a busy, loud, crowded environment
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Must maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance according to company grooming standards
Must be able to work in an environment with elevated temperatures
Ability to work and move quickly in tight spaces safely without disrupting others
Effective interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of bar and kitchen items
Basic math skills

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum two years experience in fast-paced restaurant or bar
Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages in California
Food Handlers Card preferred
ABC Service Certification preferred
CPR and/or First Aid training preferred
Proficient verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of bar equipment
Knowledge of food handling requirements
Basic mathematical skills
Knowledge of daily venue maintenance and cleaning
Ability to work under pressure in busy, loud environment
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Knowledge of Teamwork time keeping system

Job Duties

Maintain a positive, high, well-balanced energy level throughout the entire shift
Have strong interpersonal communication skills to greet guests, answer guest questions and address guest concerns warmly and professionally
Maintain a clean and well stocked bar by filling ice wells, providing back up mixers and liquor, preparing fruit garnishes, washing and stacking glassware, stocking beer, and taking out the trash as directed
Exhibit dependable, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy conduct
Provide exemplary guest service consistently
Maintain bar presentation, bottles, and glasses in a clean, organized, attractive and functional manner
Ensure all glasses, flatware and dishware are returned, cleaned and ready for use
Replenish all drink and operating supplies frequently
Comply with all ABC laws and Company policies regarding alcoholic beverage service
Perform proper setup and breakdown of stations before and after operating hours and assist with private event setup and breakdown
Complete all assigned cleaning duties, including stocking and organization
