Job Requirements
- Be physically able to go up and down stairs while carrying up to 25 lbs of supplies glassware
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis
- At least 18 years of age
- High school education or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to deal with guests in a professional manner while maintaining a composed demeanor in high stress situations
- Frequent long periods of standing and walking are expected during the workday
- Ability to reach for objects and stoop or bend as needed to perform job duties
- This position may involve visual and auditory tasks including the ability to see and hear adequately to perform job functions
- Shifts will be 5pm - 11pm 12am Tuesday - Sunday
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to deal with guests professionally maintaining composure in high stress situations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical ability to carry up to 25 lbs regularly
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a food and beverage setting
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area including bar counters glassware utensils and equipment
- Refill ice stations within the bar
- Keep bar stations stocked with liquor beer wine mixers and garnishes
- Prepare garnishes and basic bar prep items such as cutting fruit restocking napkins straws and syrups before and during service
- Transport up to 25 lbs of glassware up and down a flight of stairs
- Gather and transport used glassware to washing station wash and polish it and return clean items to the bar
- Regularly remove trash and empty bottles from bar area
- Monitor supply and inventory levels alerting bartenders and managers when restocking is needed
- Support opening and closing duties to ensure the bar is ready for service or properly shut down
- Follow all health sanitation and safety guidelines consistently throughout the shift
