Job Requirements

  • Be physically able to go up and down stairs while carrying up to 25 lbs of supplies glassware
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school education or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to deal with guests in a professional manner while maintaining a composed demeanor in high stress situations
  • Frequent long periods of standing and walking are expected during the workday
  • Ability to reach for objects and stoop or bend as needed to perform job duties
  • This position may involve visual and auditory tasks including the ability to see and hear adequately to perform job functions
  • Shifts will be 5pm - 11pm 12am Tuesday - Sunday

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to deal with guests professionally maintaining composure in high stress situations
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical ability to carry up to 25 lbs regularly
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices in a food and beverage setting

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area including bar counters glassware utensils and equipment
  • Refill ice stations within the bar
  • Keep bar stations stocked with liquor beer wine mixers and garnishes
  • Prepare garnishes and basic bar prep items such as cutting fruit restocking napkins straws and syrups before and during service
  • Transport up to 25 lbs of glassware up and down a flight of stairs
  • Gather and transport used glassware to washing station wash and polish it and return clean items to the bar
  • Regularly remove trash and empty bottles from bar area
  • Monitor supply and inventory levels alerting bartenders and managers when restocking is needed
  • Support opening and closing duties to ensure the bar is ready for service or properly shut down
  • Follow all health sanitation and safety guidelines consistently throughout the shift
