The role of the barback at Parlor is crucial in maintaining a seamless and efficient bar operation. Barbacks support the bartenders by ensuring that the bar remains fully stocked, organized, and ready to meet the demands of a busy service period. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be 21 years of age or older
- able to lift heavy items
- reliable and punctual
- able to follow instructions and work independently
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in barback or similar role preferred
- knowledge of bar equipment and basic cocktail ingredients
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication and teamwork abilities
- physical stamina to perform lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- assist bartenders in maintaining a fully stocked bar
- manage inventory of syrups, garnishes, and bar ingredients
- ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- restock glassware and other bar supplies
- support bartenders during service by providing necessary tools and ingredients
- monitor and report any issues or shortages to management
- uphold high standards of service and presentation
