Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Barback to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is crucial in supporting the bartenders and ensuring the smooth operation of the bar before, during, and after service hours. The Barback is responsible for opening and closing the bar, restocking supplies, preparing garnishes, keeping the workspace clean, and assisting bartenders with various support tasks. The ideal candidate will have a friendly attitude, a willingness to learn, and the physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. This position offers an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in starting a career in the hospitality industry or gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced bar environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • Able to work nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Mixology or hospitality certification is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items preferred
  • Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not required
  • Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Team player who works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • Able to work nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Keep tables, counters, bars, and other surfaces clean and wiped down
  • Restock supplies as needed
  • Bus tables
  • Prepare cocktail garnishes and other ingredients necessary for making drinks
  • Replace beer kegs and empty liquor bottles
  • Take out the trash
  • Assist bartenders as requested
