The Barback position at The Manchester is an integral role designed to support the bar team at The Manchester, Granddam, and Lost Palm venues. The individual in this role plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency and smooth operation of the bar, ensuring that bartenders have everything they need to deliver outstanding service. This responsibility includes restocking glasses, beverages, and other supplies, keeping the bar area impeccably clean and organized, and anticipating the needs of the bartenders. The Barback must possess a proactive attitude, always being one step ahead to assist with the flow of operations.
Aside from the physical tasks, the Barback also contributes to the overall guest experience by maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor while working closely with both bartenders and other restaurant staff. Job Duties
- Familiar with and knows the location of every item in inventory
- assists and executes all tasks as assigned by bartender
- stocks bar to par level before and after each shift
- stocks bar service area
- communicates with bartenders throughout shift
- reports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shift
- maintains a positive, friendly attitude with co-workers and guests
- maintains a clean, orderly appearance of the restaurant service area
- assists and executes all tasks as assigned by other supervisors
- follows all proper sanitation guidelines
- other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager
