Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Previous working experience in restaurant environment
  • ServSafe Certified (Food and Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
  • Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands
  • Ability to regularly reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Regular and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Previous working experience in a restaurant environment
  • ServSafe Certified (Food and Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Strong team player and self-motivated
  • Can effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values
  • Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization
  • Fluent in English speaking, writing and understanding
  • Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Job Duties

  • Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records
  • Assists and supports in inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products
  • Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
  • Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Bartender and/or Department Manager
  • Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
  • Accountable for checks and cash transactions
  • Utilizes Point of Sales System
  • Assists with setup and breakdown of portable bars and other catered events
  • On occasion serves meals to guests
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Performs other duties as required
