This particular role involves working closely with beverage servers and guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner within the beverage service operations. The position's responsibilities are centered around maintaining cleanliness and organization of the outlet during all operating periods, ensuring that supplies and equipment are kept at optimal levels, and assisting with inventory management. The role requires a hands-on approach to storing liquors, fruits, glassware, linen, paper supplies, and sundries following established guidelines and safety procedures. The role also supports bartenders by providing necessary supplies such as ice, drink glasses, and pouring non-alcoholic beverages when required. A key part of the job is to maintain the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service stations by properly disposing of refuse and sorting recyclables like bottles and cardboard according to department policies. This role involves multitasking and supporting the bar staff in a fast-paced and often noisy environment, demanding physical stamina as the job requires standing, lifting, walking, bending, and stooping throughout shifts. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Prior food and beverage experience helpful but not required
  • Must obtain Bossier ABO and LACT
  • Familiarity with bar environment preferred
  • Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
  • Ability to stand, lift, walk, bend, and stoop throughout duration of shift

Job Duties

  • Interacts with beverage servers and guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • ensures that the outlet is maintained and cleaned during all periods of operation
  • maintains par levels of operating supplies and equipment for each bar, obtaining replacement stock from warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure
  • stores liquors, fruits, glassware, linen, paper supplies and sundries in their designated areas, while following established storage guidelines and safety procedures
  • maintains inventory of all bar related products
  • supports bartender needs
  • ices drink glasses and pours non-alcoholic drinks as needed
  • removes and properly disposes of all refuse and debris accumulated in restaurants and service stations in accordance with department procedures
  • sorts bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling
  • completes related job duties assigned by supervisor
