At the American Express Lounge in Atlanta, SodexoMagic is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Barback to join their full-time team. This role offers a consistent pay rate of $15.00 per hour and requires open availability to work any shift, with specific details to be shared during the interview process. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting the bartenders by ensuring the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and efficiently maintained. Your efforts will directly contribute to a smooth and enjoyable customer experience within this prestigious lounge environment.

The Barback position involves various responsibilities such as setting up and maintaining the cleanliness and condition of bar units, tables, and tools. You will be tasked with collecting empty glasses and washing glassware to guarantee an adequate supply for serving customers. Additionally, preparing fresh garnishes using the FIFO (first-in, first-out) system and restocking the bar and designated stations with supplies are essential components of this role. You will also be responsible for anticipating replenishment needs and maintaining compliance with health code standards by keeping beer lockers, refrigeration, and storage areas spotless.

This role demands significant physical activity, including frequent walking or other mobility methods, standing for extended periods often exceeding eight hours, and the ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly, with occasional lifts or moves of up to 50 pounds. Punctuality and regular attendance are critical, as is the willingness to perform other duties as assigned, which may vary depending on business needs and client requirements.
