The Barback position at Silverado Resort is a vital role within the restaurant bar operation. This role supports the bartenders by ensuring that all bar areas are well-stocked, clean, and organized throughout each shift. The Barback is responsible for handling all beverage inventory, including liquor, beer, and wine stock replenishment, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar stations and refrigerators. The position requires active participation in the resort's team member programs, including referral initiatives and mandatory training sessions, promoting a strong team culture. Individuals in this role must adhere to strict service standards, company policies, and safety regulations, including responsible serving protocols.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Responsible Beverage Service certification
- Valid Food Handlers certification
- Ability to work flexible and long hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop or reach as needed
- Ability to work in outdoor environments with varying temperatures
- Ability to operate a golf cart if required
Job Qualifications
- Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification as required by California laws
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Job Duties
- Must adhere to the company's service culture - 4 Keys to creating guests for life
- Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort
- Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing proper uniform/business attire and nametag
- Responsible for stocking all liquor, beer, and wine at the Banquet Bar
- Adhere to the Restaurant schedule at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar, refrigerators, and service areas in an organized manner
- Assist with opening and closing duties such as restocking garnishes, straws, and napkins
- Replenish all liquor, beer and wine as needed during the shift
- Be familiar with beverages, cocktails and resort pouring standards
- Assist in opening and closing side-work as assigned
- Follow resort protocols on responsible serving
- Assist with food service if required
- Report any broken or damaged equipment
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Abide by all resort policies and safety rules
- Perform other duties as requested by management
