The position available is for a Barback who will assist bartenders by ensuring the bar is properly set up and maintained throughout the shift. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organization, preparing fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, and ensuring compliance with state and federal alcohol service regulations. The Barback will also help bartenders by organizing bar supplies, locking up beverages and equipment at closing time, and occasionally assisting security with unruly guests. The role demands physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, perform tasks requiring bending and lifting up to 40 pounds, and handle high-pressure situations in a busy nightlife environment.
