Live Nation’s Concerts Division represents the heartbeat of live music where tours are created, artists come into their element, and fans experience unparalleled live music excitement. The division spans a wide spectrum of roles from owned and operated amphitheaters to the Global Touring team, covering essential functions including ticketing, venue operations, marketing, and sales. The company is committed to fostering a fun, upbeat, and inclusive workplace culture with a plethora of benefits, such as free concert tickets, dog-friendly offices, and forward-thinking offerings like student loan reimbursement and adoption/fertility support. As a certified Great Place to Work organization and recognized by People Magazine as one of the "50 Companies that Care," Live Nation is dedicated to nurturing an environment where every employee feels belonging and the opportunity to thrive both personally and professionally. The company’s passion for live music creates a common ground that connects employees and fans alike, making it an exciting time to join Live Nation.
The role in question is pivotal within Live Nation’s dynamic Concerts Division, focused on ensuring smooth bar operations at live events. This position requires staying updated on current menu items and descriptions, adhering to Special Events guidelines for success, and handling various side duties such as stocking ice bins, liquor, beer, wine, and coolers, including physically moving items weighing up to 25 pounds. The job entails cleaning and maintaining bar equipment, performing opening, running, and closing side duties strictly following company policies, and managing trash and recyclable materials in compliance with local ordinances. Responsibilities also include separating materials like glass, cardboard, and plastics according to local codes and operating trash compactors per policy. The role demands responsible alcohol service in line with local laws and company regulations, ensuring all trash containers remain clean, odor-free, and properly lined. Maintaining company safety and sanitation standards is crucial, with a mandate to keep all ice bins and bars fully stocked according to venue specifications, clean bar glassware using the appropriate supplies and techniques, and occasionally working Special Events held throughout the venue.
Ideal candidates are passionate and motivated individuals with a resourceful, innovative, and forward-thinking mindset combined with an entrepreneurial spirit. They should possess excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills, demonstrate tolerance of diverse cultures and art forms, and hold a Responsible Alcohol Training Certification or its equivalent. Flexibility to work late hours with a flexible schedule is essential. Preferred experience includes at least three years in a positive customer-interaction role, proficiency in recognizing valid IDs, and familiarity with live music environments.
The working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful, requiring extended periods of standing and operating both indoors and outdoors. Physical demands include lifting or moving up to 25 pounds using proper techniques and handling a physically intense environment. Live Nation is an equal opportunity employer, passionately committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and offers reasonable accommodations and opportunities for professional growth.
