Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
High school completion or equivalent required
At least 2 to 3 years of high-volume experience preferred
Ability to maintain responsible alcohol service certification
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English
Ability to describe and upsell or suggest specials, menu items, document and comprehend drink and food orders and communicate effectively to kitchen and servers

Job Duties

Deliver internal and external guest service in accordance with company service standards
Perform all duties in a polite, professional, and responsible manner, including immediately alerting management of guests who may be intoxicated, unruly, or disruptive, and strictly enforcing the minimum age policy
Set up bars for operation, cut fruit, stock ice, and empty garbage
Support bartender needs by icing drink glasses and pouring non-alcoholic drinks as needed
Wipe counter areas, sinks, and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe workstation
Maintain cleanliness of designated areas following established health and safety standards
Maintain par stock levels and order bar supplies as necessary, including delivering orders
Maintain equipment according to established guidelines and safety procedures and report any maintenance issues to management
Remove and properly dispose of all refuse and debris accumulated in the bar and service stations
Resolve service issues following established guidelines
Perform all job functions in accordance with department standard operating procedures manual
